Tandy, I miss my sweet sister so much today - her birthday, and know how much more you miss her!  You will never know what it is like to have a sister, but I can tell you they are a part of you.  Even though we were not close in years, we had a love that only sisters have.  I felt so bad that she had to suffer so much her last years and wanted so much to do something to help her.  My heart just broke for her, because she would never complain unless I asked her if the pain was any better.  We can be assured that she is not hurting anymore and look forward to the day that we can join her in Heaven where there will be no more pain.  She is with Owen, her other sister, brother and parents so my tears are for my selfish self - not for her. Sisters are so special and she was one I could depend on.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom.  I know how close ya'll were.  I remember how much you would talk about her and all the thing ya'll would do together.  My deepest sympathies go to you.  I'm here if you ever need anything.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I never met your mom, but you spoke of her often. It bespoke of a close relationship between the two of you. Although she is no longer physically present, that relationship remains and will be a source of strength, love and joy.

  I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  I did not have the privilege of knowing your mother but remember the way you would talk to her on the phone and the way you would talk about her.  You described her as your Hero.  What a wonderful gift you were to her.  And what a treasure she has been in your life.  I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you find joy in the memories of this Great Woman that you called Mom.  Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
