I was very sorry to hear of Larry's passing.  I worked with Larry in Sacramento and Roseville for the Southern Pacific Police Department. While I lost touch with him over the years, with surprise, I recently received communication from him on Facebook. It was very nice hearing from him, which brought back memories of the time we worked together. Larry was a great guy and I enjoyed working with him.

Semper Fi Marine! I enjoyed our conversations and will always cherish your memory. Pilar, it has been said that Marines do not die. As long as there is a Marine Corps and Marines. those of us that have served in our beloved Corps will live on forever, embodied in the strengths, traditions and honor of every Marine brother and sister.

Larry was a great man to me. Larry gave me insights to Southern Pacific Railroad Police Department after I was hired in 1988. Larry had a sense of humor nothing appeared bring him down. Larry RIP you earned it.

To family and friends of Larry.  I know that everyone who was touched by Larry sometime in their life will miss him.  First met in in 1977 and worked with him the last day he worked on the railroad.  He had a great sense of humor and was a good friend.  You will be missed Larry.  Rest in peace.

Pilar & Family - Larry will not only be missed by his family but by the friends that he has made over the years.  From he and Doug working together over the years and then myself when I became the secretary for the squad.  We worked many hours together but I bet we laughed twice as much.  Keeping in touch through the recent years with Facebook was great.  As Doug always signed off with him, 1-Mary-32 to 1-Mary-31, over and out.  RIP our old friend LP.
