Laura Dell Chretien went to be with her Lord on March 24, 2018. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Mallet, Louisiana to parents Bertha and Poland Durisseau. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Wilbert Chretien; two sisters, Rose, Terrie; and brother, Larry. She is survived by her two daughters, Myra, Stephanie and husband Jamarcus; four sons, Wilbert and wife Jackie, David and wife Terrie, Reginald and wife Gail, Dennis and wife Mary; two sisters, Kitty, Lois; three brothers John Jay and JD; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, friends and other family members.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, March 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM; a funeral service on March 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
