Laura Reasoner

She was born in Midland, Texas on October 12, 1961. Her family moved to Houston two years later. Laura grew up in the Westbury subdivision. She attended Anderson Elementary and Fondren Junior High. She graduated from Westbury High School in 1981. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Following graduation, Laura worked at a variety of companies in customer service positions. She married twice. She was a lifelong Chirstian.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Sam Reasoner, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Erma Reasoner; her sister, Diane Nolen; her brother-in-law, Rand Nolen; and her niece, Samantha Nolen.

Throughout Laura’s life, she overcame many health challenges. Although she remained active up until two days before her death, she spent her final years at Focused Care at Westwood, a skilled nursing facility.

A graveside service for Laura will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
