Laurie Sue Sorensen-Clapper

Laurie was born September 17th, 1963, in Denver, Colorado, to Alvin and Thelma Sorensen. She lived in Colorado when she was younger and later moved to

Cleburne, Texas, where she attended Cleburne High School . Laurie attended college in Springfield, Missouri. Laurie worked as a restaurant manager all her

life. She married Richard Clapper in 2009.

Laurie loved life; she never knew a stranger and was always willing to help others. She was always able to find humor in any situation she faced. Laurie loved

spending as much time as possible with her kids and grandkids. She loved to bargain shop--she was always looking for the best deal. Her beautiful smile and

laughter will be very much missed.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Clapper, four children: Anthony and wife Libby Sorensen of Indiana; Tabitha and husband, Steven Green of Waco;

Jessy Sorensen of Florida; and Seth Sorensen of Katy; mother Thelma Sorensen of Katy; and brother Craig Thompson of Covington. She is also survived by

four beautiful grandchildren, Lilly and Vance Sorensen and Addison and Brooklynn Green, as well as a niece and nephew and numerous other extended

family and friends.
