LAVERA TAMBURELLO
LaVera Tamburello passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 88 years. She was born in Forest Hill, LA, to Leotis and Joseph Nugent and moved to Texas at the age of 11.
She is survived by John, her loving husband of 63 years; their children Ann Johnson (Chip), Nancy Rasch (Gus), and Carol Wright (Shannon); six grandchildren Emily, Brandon, Carly, Katie, Dylan, and Austin; and great-grandson, Joseph. She is also survived by her brother David Nugent (Sammie) and sister Jeanette Spade (Howard).
Her warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Johnson Dylan Wright, Austin Rasch, Zach Robinson, Justin Burch, and Melvin Foster, Jr.
A visitation will be at 9:00 am, with services following at 10:00 am on June 6, 2025, at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to St. Jude's or Camp Peniel in Marble Falls or plant a tree in her memory.
