Lawrence Wilkerson Sr.

Lawrence migrated to Houston, TX at a young age. He started work at a very young age. He worked in the trucking Industry and later became an Owner/Operator of his 18-wheeler. He enjoyed sports.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his daughter, Carmen; and his brothers, James Leon, aka “Sunnyboy”, Paul, and Benjamin.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his three children: Lawrence Jr. (Yvette), Mable and Dana; grandchildren: Donterrell, LaToya, Erica, Donald, Lawrence III, Lawren, Malik, Jamilah, Antonine and Kevin; seven great-grandchildren: Jayla, Halie, Jalea, Jalen, Jordan, Jhourni and Kailani; sisters: Maxie Arvie, Mary McLaurin, Karen Roundtree, Barbara Smith and Cheryl Amingo; uncle: Noah Wilkerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Lawrence will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A funeral services will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. The committal will follow Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at PARADISE NORTH CEMETERY, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088.
