Leandro Flores Jr., beloved Father, Brother, Son entered into eternal rest on January 20th,2026. Lee was born on December 21st, 1962 in Houston, TX to parents Leandro Cantu Flores and Marcelina Zavala Flores. While growing up in the Near Northside of Houston, Lee was active at Holy Name Church as an altar boy and spent a lot of time in the Christian Youth Organization at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lindale Park. At Holy Name and St. Patrick’s, Lee had the pleasure of starting a lot of friendships with so many people that he maintained until his passing. One of those friendships cultivated in the starting of “Nightlife Sound Systems” disc jockey service. Lee, along with his best friend Joe Gonzales also known as “Big Joe” would play their tunes at church dances, weddings and quinceaneras all around the Houston area and beyond. During his time while working with Big Joe, Lee met and had a lot of great times with many new friends who he would proclaim as “familia por vida”. A pivotal day in Lee’s life occurred on December 23rd, 1996 with the birth of his son, Leandro Antonio Flores, that would change his life forever. “Little Lee” was the apple of his eye and their relationship developed into a bond that would never be compromised. Whether it was watching his son play high school sports, or watching the Texans play at NRG, they were inseparable. A huge void has been left in so many hearts with his passing, but we have all been blessed to be a part of his life and his story. Lee is survived by son’s, Leandro Antonio Flores and Jonathon Blake Aguirre, sister Anna Perales (Pedro), brothers Frank Flores (Eva) and Roman Flores (Myrna), nieces Alyssa Venable (William) and Jayden & Jillian Flores, nephews Aaron Perales and Christian & Gabriel Flores along with his special Olivia Lee Venable and many aunts & uncles and cousins who he cherished and loved.
