

Leburn “Ozzie” Middleton, born in Gray, Kentucky on October 19, 1927 to Edna and Lockie Middleton, passed away March 9, 2016. He is preceded in death by: Wife: Thelma, Mother: Edna Middleton, Father: Lockie Middleton, Brother: Edgar Middleton, Sister: Faye Cobb.
Ozzie will be greatly missed by his daughter: Louise Dalati, daughter: Judy Fuller, sons-in-Law: Richard Dalati, Ronnie Fuller; grandson: Randy Morehead; Special niece, Michelle Middleton; brother: Leland Middleton and wife Linda; sisters: Alma Hardin and Barbara Sutherland and husband John. Numerous other Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many, many friends.
Ozzie began playing steel guitar professionally at age of 15 and was playing the Grand Ole Opry at age 16. Ozzie loved his wife and family and his friends, but the greatest love he had was for his Lord Jesus Christ. Oz gave up his professional career as a musician playing in clubs and Bars and dedicated his life to the Lord. As Ozzie would say “He Got Saved”.
He played music for the Lord for many years. His hearing diminished to the point he couldn’t hear music notes and had to retire from playing. He Loved God with all his heart and is now in his eternal home playing a “Golden” Steel Guitar. Praise the Lord. Some of his favorite scriptures consist of Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8, Psalms 23,Romans 14:8,John 3-16. His Favorite songs were, There’s room at the cross, Amazing Grace, and many other gospel greats.
