Leila, you taught me so much during your 10 years plus, of volunteering for West U. I looked forward to working with you on Fridays, b/c of your organizational skills and your amazing sense of humor. You were loved by everyone in this office, who was graced by your sweet spirit and fun loving attitude. I will always think of you fondly especially when I watch old movies with Bette Davis or George Raft. Love you, Always, Patricia

Leila and I first bonded over The Young and The Restless. I began visiting her  weekly, and we thoroughly discussed the happenings in our favorite soap.
I often marveled at the sharpness of her mind. She seemed to remember everything! Although she was 20 years my senior, I often depended on her to recall things that I did not.
Another kindred topic was love for our cats. We both enjoyed being "crazy cat ladies" and offered no apologies for it! The hours we spent together were precious. I loved her immensely. She will be sorely missed.

I always loved your funniness. You could always say just what needed to be said and just when. Wish I had spent more time with you! The world will miss you, not just your family.
