Leonard L. Vasquez

Leonard L. Vasquez was born in Houston, Texas to Victor and Alicia Vasquez. Leonard was a loving husband to Regina for 28 years, they were married on September 23, 1995. He was a beloved father to their children, Tabitha and Jacob; a great uncle, nephew, brother-in-law and friend.

Tabitha and Jacob were his world and he spoiled them with all his heart. Leonard taught his children the importance of serving God and walking God’s path.

Leonard accepted Christ as his savior in April 1987, and his faith in Christ was enormous until his very last breath. Leonard was a faithful member of El Buen Pastor Church (1987-2003), El Olivar Church (2003-2021) and most recently at Lirio de los Valles Church (2021-present). At these churches, he faithfully served as church secretary, Sunday School Youth teacher, and Deacon. His passion was to see the young people come to know the Lord.

Leonard graduated from the University of Houston, earning a degree in Bachelor of Science Technology. His passion was working on computers and helping family and friends that needed computers or needed some work done on them.

On March 13, 2024, God called Leonard to his heavenly home. He is survived by wife Regina, daughter, Tabitha Elisa, and son, Jacob Daniel. Brothers: Larry and Frank Vasquez, Sisters: Rosemary Hyslop (Kevin) and Brenda Winn, and Sister-in-Law, Rosalie Vasquez, numerous nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles, sister in laws and brother in laws.

Leonard was preceded in death by his sister Sylvia Vasquez and brother Marcos Vasquez.

He will be deeply missed by all family members and friends.
