Leonel was preceded in death by his wife Ninfa Ramirez; his surviving children daughter Julia Villarreal and her husband Benjamin; son Martin Ramirez and his wife Maria; daughter Diana Gomez and her husband Jose Angel; daughter Maria del Carmen Perez and her husband Jacinto; and daughter Laura Salinas; grandchildren: Benjamin Joel, Adrian and wife Susie, Stephen, Cecilia, John and wife Angela, Aimee, Adrianna, Samantha, Estefany, Ashley, Gabriella, Sarah, Joel and Matthew; great grandchildren: Arya, Zechariah, Jaylee, Jackson and Mateo . Surviving siblings: Lidia Ramirez de Flores, Felipa Ramirez de Alfonso, Argelia Ramirez, Rene Ramirez, Mirta Ramirez de la Fuente. Preceded in death by his brother: Samuel Ramirez and Sergio Ramirez
A visitation for Leonel Ramirez will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 5: 00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will occur Sunday January 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Joel Villarreal, Adrian Ramirez, Stephen Ramirez, Martin Ramirez, Joe Gomez, Jacinto Perez and Benjamin Villarreal.
