Lester Earl Hiebert, age 83, was born on September 1, 1929 in Dallas, TX and passed peacefully on February 23, 2013, in Houston, TX. He is survived by his loving wife Rachel, of 57 years; daughter Leslie Christison; sons, Kenneth Hiebert and Keith Hiebert; sister, Patricia Walker; grandson, Sean Graham Christison and several nieces and nephews. Les honorably served in the United States Air force during the Korean conflict. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Architecture. Les worked as an Architect for many years in Houston. He was a dedicated fan of the Texas Longhorns and an avid hunter and fisherman. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, February 27th from 3-5 PM at Forest Park Westheimer funeral home. In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be made to the Houston Humane Society, SPCA or Citizens for Animal Protection.
