Lewis is preceded in death by his step-son, Bob Terry; daughter, Madonna Martin; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beard; daughter Bonnie Freeman and husband Harry, step-daughter Linda Shelton and husband Robert; step-sons: Thomas Terry, Martin Terry, Gil Terry and Danny Terry; sister, Hazel Manen; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will begin promptly at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
