Mrs Libby Ruth Polansky Laird

Libby Polansky Laird, 96 was born on January 1, 1915 in Rosebud, TX to Frank and Kristine Polansky. Libby moved to Houston upon her marriage to Norman “Cotton” Laird in Caldwell on April 20, 1941 who predeceased her in death on April 21, 2002. Libby is survived by her children, Joe Laird and wife Sharon of Houston and Christine Cuddy and husband Tom of Crosby; grandchildren, Eric Laird and Morgan Laird of Houston, Kathryn Cuddy of Frisco, Angela Cuddy Wolf of Burnett, Thomas L. Cuddy, USN of Kaneohe, Hawaii and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Angie Polansky Vaux of Dallas and numerous nieces and nephews. Agathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Pat H. Foley & Co. from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, TX 77055. In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Libby Polansky Laird's honor to Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
