

Librado Arizpe Argueta, age 77, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. He was born on January 9, 1948, in Monterrey, Mexico, to parents Jose Argueta Rojas and Elena Arizpe Garcia. Librado was married to Maria Manuela Argueta for 43 years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria M. Argueta; parents, Jose Argueta Rojas & Elena Arizpe Garcia; brothers, Jose Argueta Arizpe, and Carlos Argueta Arizpe; great granddaughter, Liv Zo Arvizu-Rivas.
Librado is survived by his daughters, Ana Laura Andrade, Norma Argueta, Sandra Argueta, Gabriela Argueta; son, Alexander Argueta; and their spouses; grandchildren Jasmine Rivas, Alexxa Rivas, Casey Copley, Alexandra Argueta, Arcelia Andrade, Desirae Andrade, Alyssandra Sanchez, Anthony Argueta, Nathan Hernandez, Victoria Sanchez, Austin Argueta, Haley Frazier, and Adrian Argueta; great grandchildren, Luka, Lena, Lex, Lillie, Isabella, Maximilian, Alana, Michael, and Averson; siblings, Alfredo Argueta Arizpe, Idalia Argueta Gloria, Lucia Guadalupe Cantu Flores, Berta Francisca Gonzales Hinojoza.
He was a husband, father, and grandfather. While we lost our beloved dad, many lost a friend and loved one in him. He was passionately devoted to serving God and he loved his family. He especially loved being “Grandpa”. All who knew him will profoundly miss his energetic personality and his laughter.
As we celebrate and honor Librado, we invite you to share pictures and memories so that we may reminisce, laugh and smile together during this time.
A visitation for Librado will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10:30 AM, in Brookside's Grand Chapel with burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Luis Andrade, Casey Copley, Alexander Argueta, Michael Carrizal, Anthony Argueta, Austin Argueta, Nathan Hernandez, and Alex Sanchez
In lieu of flowers, the family requests considering sending plants in memory of Librado Argueta.
