Lilia Pugal (Tingson) Wong

Lilia Wong, eighty-six, of Arlington, Massachusetts (formerly of Houston, Texas) passed away November 8, 2019.
She was born in Iloilo, Philippines, on February 8, 1933, to Proceso and Patrocenia Tingson.
She was married to William Chi-Yee Wong for thirty-nine years.
Lilia had a career in nursing. She worked for the Hospital of Sick Children, Toronto, and various other hospitals in her places of residence - New Jersey, Texas, and California.
She was a member of First Philippine Baptist Church Seniors Fellowship and had a passion for gardening, cooking, hanging out with friends, church activities, music, singing, dancing, Filipino culture, politics, reading, storytelling, and being a great mom and grandmother!
She was preceded in death by William Wong, husband; her parents; and some of her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by Cindy Hasio and Cenia Wong Tupaj, daughters; Scott Tupaj, son-in-law; and Sophia Lily Tupaj, granddaughter; four of her seven brothers and sisters, Mahina Tingson Velez, Hernanie Tingson, Joel Tingson and Yolanda Tingson Masa.
