Lillian Mae Coleman

Lillian Mae Coleman went to be with her Lord on March 30, 2017. She was born on July 23, 1925 in Thornton, Texas to parents Callie Edith and John Edward Tekell. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Norma Jean Coleman; ex-husband, William Hopkins Coleman. She is survived by her five children, John Edward Coleman, Leta Jeanette Carter and husband Jerome, Edith Ann Watkins and husband Mark, William Dale Coleman and wife Dawn, Judy Beth Baker and husband Dan; nine grandchildren, Cindy Coughlin, Jackie Starks, Lenora Winslett, Felicia Hayes, Tara Coleman, Drew Coleman, Eric McClaugherty, Wesley Coleman, Ian Coleman; two step grandchildren, Justin McClaugherty, Jay McClaugherty; eight great grandchildren, Cody Coughlin, Timothy Coughlin, Justin Coughlin, Allison McClaugherty, Ericka Starks, Ashlyn Starks, Caitlin Hayes, Blake Hayes and numerous of friends and other family.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service Tuesday, April 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
