Linda Jo Beltran

Linda was born on March 19, 1961 to Tomasa and James Castro in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin high school,

Class of 1979.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ruben J. Garcia, Victoria B. Garcia, and Tomasa B. Garcia, her 10 grandchildren, 3 (plus one of the way) great grandchildren, her husband of 18 years, David Beltran, her 3 sisters, and her mother, Tomasa Cantu. Linda had a family that went far and wide with many nieces, nephews,

cousins, aunts, and uncles who all cherished her kind, lively spirit.

There will be a viewing at Funeraria del Ángel Crespo beginning at 3pm, Friday, October 16, 2026 with a funeral service at 7pm with Pastor Letty Villareal. The viewing that will be all open overnight. On October 17, 2026, from 11am-1pm, there will be a few words from the family and open mic for anyone who would like to speak. A procession will follow at 2pm to Forest Park Lawndale for the burial ceremony with the final prayer from Pastor Roy Gonzalez. There will be a gathering at Bethel Church for food and fellowship to celebrate Linda's life.

Linda was a great lover of plants and flowers. If you'd like to send any, please send flowers that we're just as bright and vibrant as she was.
