

Linda Kay Case age 69 of Houston, Tx passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home, on Friday, April 8th, 2022. Linda was born on September 30th, 1952 in Houston, Tx to Jack Edward Runge and Mary Marguerite Vaughn. She is the oldest of her siblings and is a graduate of Sterling High School, Houston, TX.
Linda met her husband Paul Case, while working for the same company, in 1996. They married in Napa Valley, CA on June 4th, 2002.
Linda was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo serving on such committees as Ticket Sellers, a captain on the World Championship BBQ, Trail Blazers, Vice Chairman on School Art and the Armed Forces committee. She was also a buyer at the Steer auction, Swine auction and the School Art auction. She recently received her 35 years of service pin at this years BBQ cookoff.
Linda and Paul were members of Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. Linda began helping with the Hospital Chaplin Ministry and visited MD Anderson and the Ronald McDonald house often. Her love of helping others led her to become an ordained minister and start her own online ministry.
Linda was a lover of horses, music, dancing, singing, jewelry and all things fashion! She never met a pair of shoes she didn’t like!
She was a fun-loving, outgoing, classy, passionate woman who loved her family and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Linda was preceded in death by her father Jack Edward Runge, her mother Mary Marguerite White and her adoring cats Mr. Marmalade, Oreo and Macaroon (Mac for short). She is survived by her husband Paul Case and his daughter Hallie Case and children; daughter Shawn Dean and wife Darla; grandchildren Kody Cummins and wife Abigale, Shelbi Cummins and fiancé Jo Rivera and Rylee Dean; sisters Judy Terry and husband John; Connie Bouchard; Donna Haynes; Pat Flores; brothers Charles Runge; Greg Runge and wife Kim, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved family members.
A visitation with the family, for Linda, will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024.
A funeral service will occur following the visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and
a catered reception will follow the funeral service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
