Linda Joyce Collins

Linda was born in Louisville Kentucky on June 24, 1946. She later made Houston her home

where she has resided for about 32 years.

Linda is survived by her loving family including her sons, Sam and Jeff; daughters, Christina, Margaret,

and Bobbie Ann; Grandchildren (15); Great grandchildren (10); brothers, Donald and David; Sister Barbara

Linda worked as a Security Officer for 18 years and as a single mother also worked hard to take care of her

family. As a loving grandmother she was there to support and help raise her grandchildren.

While volunteering at the Children's Activity center she rededicated her heart to the Lord and faithfully served in the ministry of helps. Linda loved to cook and prepare meals as part of the end of Sunday Service Fellowship. Once a month Linda faithfully joined others to prepare the monthly news letters that shared testimonies of the Lords accomplishments. She found great joy in going to church with her family and grandchildren.

Our dear mother will be sorely missed. We take great comfort in knowing that she no longer suffers with infirmities

and now has received her new " Heavenly Body"! She is in perfect peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5-9pm at Advantage Funeral Home 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 7:00 P.M.
