

Linda is survived by her three children, Andy Harvey, Rick Harvey, and Debra Reardon, as well as her seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Jared, and Jesse Harvey; Chase and Blake Harvey; and Jenny and Mary Reardon. She is pre-deceased by her parents, by her husband, Jess Harvey, and by her beloved doggies, Lollipop, Wrinkles, Shane, and Angel.
Born in 1932 in Fort Worth, TX, Linda grew up in San Antonio, TX where she met her husband of 53 years, Jess Harvey. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Jacksonville University in 1969. Linda taught Special Education classes at Parkwood Elementary in Jacksonville, FL until relocating to Houston, TX in 1972. She took a position as Executive Secretary at White-Westinghouse until she retired in the mid-80’s.
Linda and her husband Jess spent many of their years traveling abroad visiting cities in Europe as well as traveling across the United States. Linda was a gourmet cook showing her love for good food and wine. She was accomplished pianist. She loved good books especially mysteries and romance novels and iBooks. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and had great affection for her doggies and granddoggies.
A Graveside service will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079 on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 3:00 P.M.
