Linda Kay Spriggs, 76, of Spring, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Linda Kay was born on October 25, 1948, to Katherine Estelle Brownschidel and Elo Pete Brownschidel in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her cherished sister, Diane Elaine Brownschidel.
A devoted wife for 40 years, Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. In her early years, she worked as a secretary at Brown and Root before choosing to focus on her family in 2002. Everyone who knew Linda knew how much she dedicated her life to Christ, loved animals, doll collecting, cooking, shopping, and spending time with family. Her inspiration and commitment to helping others were reflected in the values held by those closest to her.
She is survived by her husband, David Hall Spriggs; her son, Frank John Carnoski III; her stepdaughter Remi Dyll and her husband Michael Dyll; stepdaughter Chelsea Diaz; and her beloved grandchildren, Katie Carnoski, Russell Dyll, and Martin Dyll.
Serving as pallbearers to honor Linda’s life are her family members: Frank John Carnoski III, Michael Dyll, Russell Dyll, Eric Alexander, Kevin Flanagan, John Sciackitano, and Dein Spriggs.
Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., also at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, with Melvin Starling officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Brookside Cemetery.
