Linda Lou Vega

She was born in Christiansburg, Virginia to the late Austeen Hicks and the late Lorraine Hicks-Hazelgrove. She is survived by her sister, Teresa Minozzi of Richmond, Virginia; brother, Dorse Hicks of Pawleys Island, South Carolina; and preceded in death by her brother, Mainard Hicks of Elyria, Ohio.

Linda was a loving wife to Paul Vega, Jr. and she will be dearly remembered by her children and stepchildren: daughters, Lisa Gaskill (husband Dan) and Karla Buchanan (husband Budd); son, Greg Gray (wife Belinda); stepdaughter, Tennia Reinhold (husband Tommy); and stepson, Trey Vega (wife Jen). She created wonderful memories for her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A service of remembrance will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079, on her birthday, August 31, 2016 at 12:30 PM.
