

Linnie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Lanham, son, Wayne Osteen, and daughter Sue Lanham and grandson, Robert Lee Osteen.
Linnie’s memory will be cherished by her surviving family members, sons, Robert Osteen, Arthur Osteen, Kenneth Lanham, Debbie Lanham; sister, Fay Ubernasky; eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Linnie was a devoted wife and loving mother whose life reflected strength, resilience, and quiet grace. Born in 1929 at the beginning of the Great Depression, she grew up during a time of hardship and uncertainty that shaped her character and values. As part of the Silent Generation, Linnie embodied resourcefulness, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for family and financial stability.
Throughout her lifetime, she witnessed remarkable changes in the world, from the introduction of frozen foods and FM radio to advances such as jet engines and nuclear science. Through it all, she remained steadfast and grounded, meeting life’s challenges with determination and stoic endurance.
Linnie will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her strength of spirit, and the quiet legacy of perseverance she leaves behind.
A Funeral Service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on May 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on May 4, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
