

He was the sweetest, most loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, filled with kind words and a smile for everyone he met. He was always there when family needed him. He was a quiet person, a man of few words, but one with a big heart. He was a man that you were proud to call your dad. He will be immensely missed. Lloyd was a member of St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church and lifetime member of the American Legion. He was married to his dear wife, Dorothy Ellen Anderson, for 58 years until she preceded him in 2001.
He is survived by his children, Sharon Loy Anderson, Linda Jo Dunaway, and Stephen Loyd Anderson and wife, Lynn; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Anderson and wife, Natalie, Stephanie Kirtley and husband, Mark, Floyd Willis and wife, Heather, Angelica Norton and husband, Matthew, and Rick Wilbourn and wife, Bree; his great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kolbee, and Dalaney Kirtley, Ashtyn, Noah, and Jeremy Anderson, Ivy Willis, Brinley Wilbourn, and Eloise Norton; his siblings, Billy Jack Anderson, Betty Irene Wallace, Nelda Ruth Anderson, and Doris Jean Kennedy; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 P.M, on Thursday, May 5th, 2011 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30PM, on Friday, May 6th, with Reverend Cramer Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
