Lois Wong Gee

Lois Wong Gee, age 95, of Houston, went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2017. She was born December 20, 1921 in San Francisco, California and came to live in Houston in 1939 when she married Wing Hon Gee.

Mrs. Gee was predeceased by her husband, Wing Hon Gee, her daughter, May Gee Jeung, her son, Herbert W. Gee, and her great-granddaughter, Kira Jeung. She is survived by daughter, Judy Gee Chong and husband Bellford; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Gee; grandchildren, Michael Jeung and wife Lisa, Brian Jeung and wife Winnie, Jeffrey Gee, Erin Joe and husband, Ken Joe, and Byron Chong and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren Lynnea Jeung, Nolan Jeung, Hayley Joe, Jackson Joe, Cami Jeung, Avery Chong, and Allie Chong. She is also survived by her sisters, Elaine Yee and Marian Fong, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Arthur Yee, James Yee, Paul Fong, Clement Chow, Richard Eng, and Russell Gee.

She was a long time member of Chinese Baptist Church and the Gee Family Association.

The family of Lois Wong Gee wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff at Brookdale Sugar Land for the care they gave our mother and grandmother.

Visitation and viewing will be Friday, July 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 P.M. Services will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 3 P.M. both at the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway with Rev. Coleman Chong officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Chinese Baptist Church, 900 Brogden, Houston, TX 77024.
