

She was born in Houston, Texas on August 28, 1933.
Maxine graduated from Jeff Davis High School as a Carlton Cadet. She was married to Charles Wayne Haynes, Sr on October 3, 1953. They got married on a 3 day pass when Charles was in the Army because he could not stand to be away from her any longer. She worked at the Houston Chronicle for ten years as Miss Classified.
Maxine’s husband and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life. She was always checking on others as she was more concerned about their well being than herself. Maxine will be joining her Heavenly Father and be reunited with her beloved daughter, Lora Denise Haynes, who passed away at the age of 16.
She was survived by her husband Charles Haynes, Sr., her son Charles Haynes, Jr and his wife Priscilla, her son Terry Haynes and his wife Sandi, her daughter Susie Becvar. Grandchildren, Tara and her husband Eric Jiminez, Charles Haynes, III, Michael and his wife Tracy Haynes, Morgan and her husband John Carter, and Dalton Becvar. Great grandchildren Jayme and McKenzie Carter, Austin and Emily Jiminez and Ethan Haynes. Her extended family Rick and his wife Angela Vabulas, son Mark Vabulas and daughter Lauren and her husband Ben Andrews.
Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Viewing will be from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. Services will begin at 2:00PM. Grave Site will begin at 3:00PM.
