I heard your voice in the wind today and I turned to see your face;
The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as it's warmth filled the sky;
I saw your eyes in the window pane as I watched the falling rain; it seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today.
You may have died ..but you are not gone.. you will always be a part of me.
As long as the sun shines..
The wind blows..
The rain falls..
You will live inside of me forever, for that is all my heart knows.

My Popo…there are no words to express how much you are going to be missed. There are no words to express the amount love and acceptance you gave unconditionally. There are no words to describe how much I love you and how much I’ll miss hearing you say “my nurse”.

Your memory will forever live in my heart. I will always remember watching you dance with your fancy footwork as well as dancing with you and trying to keep up with that fancy footwork. I will always remember when I was little and going up to you to “tickle Popo’s feet!” And I will never forget that contagious smile on your face!

Popo, thank you for being such a Wonderful Popo and GreatPopo. I Love You and May You Rest In Peace.

Pop and I had a special bond. From the time I asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage and thru these past 22yrs. He always had time for conversation. Anything from sports to my own parents health and well-being. He would always listen intently. The most important though was he and mom accepting my 2 boys as if they were their own unconditionally. He was a Very Special Man.

“ Old Irish Prayer”
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. “Rest in Peace”

There are so many wonderful things to say about my Popo. He lived a beautiful life and raised a big beautiful family. His treasures weren't in the things he had, but in his family and his faith in God. He loved his family truly unconditionally, and was giving and kind and gracious. He loved to joke and tease, he loved to cook. He loved to spoil his grandkids and great grandkids. He was the hardest working man. He had the best dancing footwork. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his sweets treats! He loved a Good Friday fish fry, and playing games with us on Easter. I remember our volleyball games in the backyard, and our egg races. I'll miss hearing him say, "How's my girl?" And I'd give anything to share another birthday celebration with him. I love you forever, Popo. And I pray that I can raise my boys to be great hard-working family men just like you.

Our Pops was a great man of God. There are no words to describe how truly a great man he was. He and I shared a special bond together that I will truly miss. We would always joke and kid around with each other, since the first time I met him. I loved him and Pops was the dad that I never had. And he knew it. I will miss him and our laughs together so much. RIP Pops. You are always in my heart ❤.
