Loretta Mary Harmason
May 17, 1936 – January 17, 2023

Loretta Benjamin was born to Leroy Benjamin, Sr. and Haster Winchester Benjamin on May 17, 1936, in Cottonport, LA. Having made a confession of faith in Jesus Christ she was a long-time member of New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was employed with North Forest Independent School District and retired from Heights Hospital where she worked as a Home Health Aide.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 27 years Dan Harmason, Sr.; son, Donald L. Harmason; granddaughter, Shavonne Harmason; sisters, Alma Jackson and Georgia Franklin; brothers, Leroy Benjamin, Jr. & Douglas Benjamin.
Loretta leaves to celebrate her life daughter, Brenda Brantley; son, Dan Harmason, Jr. and wife Rose; daughter, Linda McCray and husband Wallace. She also leaves 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Parker and Lillie Franklin; brother, Donald Benjamin & wife Deborah all of Houston, TX also a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

A visitation for Loretta will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. The funeral service will be held on Monday, at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Followed by a burial at 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Brookside Memorial Park.
