Loretta Walker was born February 16, 1941, to Mrs. Willie Mae Woods and Mr. Richard Woods, Sr. As a young girl attending Columbus High school, she was a majorette as well as a cheerleader. But she later left Columbus to go be with her brother in Houston; departing from her mother and father along with her 11 brothers and sisters in Columbus. But taken the departure to Houston is later where she met her late husband Jessie Walker, and they had 6 beautiful kids together.
An amazing woman of God and pure faith she raised her kids in the church of Carverdale church of God and Christ.
An amazing mother, friend, wife, daughter, and especially grandmother, she leaves as. To cherish her and her memories she leaves behind 3 brothers, Herman, Lenuis, and Charles, James Woods, along with 1 sister Ruby Williams, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Mother, and Father, Brothers: Richard, Ben, Robert, and Thomas Woods, and 1 sister Joyce Clayborne, late son Bender Walker, and granddaughter Jenifer Weasby.
