Louis Halvorsen Jr.

He leaves behind his devotion to family, friends and work. Louis always had a smile on his face and enjoyed uplifting others. He loved listening and dancing to a good tune and

sharing stories about life and experiences.

Louis Halvorsen was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother and friend. He leaves his six children and two step-children; Wendy Saurette and husband Greg Saurette, Eric Halvorsen and wife Tiffani Halvorsen, Hans Halvorsen and wife Brandy Halvorsen, Brittany Guerra and husband Edgar Guerra, Megan Halvorsen, Blake Halvorsen, Nick Hunter and Ian Hunter and twelve grandchildren; Taylor, Gabriella, Seth, Paxton, Isabella, Emmy, Sophia, Liliana, Kyley, Jaxon, Samantha and Maxwell. He leaves his eight siblings; Martha Halvorsen, Maria Del Carmen Comis, Marie Hickey, Patricia Wise, Augustine Halvorsen, George Halvorsen, Laura Bray and John Halvorsen.

He was preceded in death by his son Kyle Halvorsen and his parents, Louis B Halvorsen and Paula Mercedes Halvorsen.

The family would like to invite family and friends for visitation from 6:00pm – 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, January 31st at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX 77065.
