Lowell Dale Wardlow

Dale was born at home in East Alton, Illinois on August 24, 1933 to Verna and Lonnie Wardlow. One of five children, Dale graduated from Woodriver High School in 1952, after which he joined the United States Air Force. He married the love of his life, Sandra Hope Person, on August 31, 1962. He retired from AT&T in 1994 after more than 25 years of service. Dale is survived in death by his wife of nearly 52 years, Sandy; son Greg and his wife Sue; son Tim and his wife Chere'; and six grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Luke, Maddie, Dylan, and Emma Kate.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home located at 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77079. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Copperfield Church, 8350 Highway 6 North, Houston, Texas 77095. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery. The mission of Gina's Light Foundation is to provide immediate educational support to the children of deceased parents.
