

Lucille Canalito Campo, the sunshine of our lives, and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother joined her husband, John Campo in eternal peace along with her two brothers Joe and Lee Canalito and her parents Sarah and Andrew Canalito on Sunday, February 19th, 2012.
Her son, Al Campo Sr., her daughter Linda Stratigakis and her husband Nick, and daughter Sandy Clay and her husband John mourn her loss. Her grandchildren Al Jr. Campo and wife Shanen, Kim Walsh and her husband Rick, Michael Stratigakis, and Justin and Adam Clay and her great grandchildren Morgan and Mason Walsh and Ashlyn and Caitlyn Campo mourn for her as well. She is survived and missed by her brother Sam Canalito and his wife Faye and their four children. Her surviving sisters-in-law Marie and Pauline Canalito and their children will also miss her.
Born in an Italian-American community on Oct. 17, 1921, she was a faithful, lifelong member of St. Pius V Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, the Women’s Club, and the Prayer Group. Our beautiful angel has taken on her wings.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:30 pm till 9:00 pm with a Vigil Service starting at 7:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. A Visitation and Rosary will begin at 9:30 am and a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 South Main Street, Pasadena, Texas 77506. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
