I met Lucy at The service I volunteered with. Lucy was always pleasant and had a smile on her face. I am so sad to hear that she has gone to be with the lord. He has another beautiful angel 😇.
To her son and family I hope and pray that the beautiful memories will help you get through this trying time. May god bless you.

Adriano, Denise, Mr. and Mrs. Herrada, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I've known Lucy since she was a couple of years younger than Adriano and all I can say is that she lived life on her terms and I'm sure she had no regrets. As my childhood friend, neighbor, classmate, co-worker and life long confident, her legacy, Adriano, is what I know she was most proud of and loved immensely. Denise, the love, care and respect both of you exemplified for each other showed thru her last day, well done my friend! Mr. and Mrs. Herrada, I have no words just a lot of love for you both.
Your Neighbor, Maria Lomeli

Aunt Mary and Uncle Jimbo, thank you for all the memories and opportunities you gave us as young girls. I know we were a handful and probably could of used a paddle, but rather good or bad, I will cherish my memories of Lucy. I love you both and pray for your comfort. She was a good friend and sista to me.
My first time I met Lucy, she came to our home with my sister, Lisa and Ronnie Gomez. I was in the 8th grade and working on a solar science project. She started helping me. And well, she stayed until we finished it. From then on, we hung out every weekend and...... The story goes from there.
Lucy I hear ya whispering in the wind. Fly free my friend, fly free ❤️

I will never forget her kindness and her handsome son. I was a lector one day at Mass and I noticed someone was wearing a blouse like I had. I did not look down to see that I also had it on. I smiled when I realized it and I saw her face, she smiled and she gave me a thumbs up. After Mass she told me she was sorry she had on the same blouse as me and I said great Minds think alike. After that it seemed like we greeted each other like old friends. Everytime I spoke with her, she was never angry. She always in a happy mood. I would ask her how she was feeling, she would say I'm fine. My most sorrowful condolences to Jim, & Mary, Denise and her son Adriano. You have many friends at St. Alphonsus.
