Luey Chun Chang

Luey was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose kindness, warmth, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

An avid sports enthusiast, Luey enjoyed playing tennis, table tennis, and pickleball. He also had a lifelong passion for music and found great joy in playing the guitar and singing. A devoted supporter of his alma mater, he especially enjoyed watching Wolverine football. Luey was a proud Wolverine, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering from The University of Michigan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shuk; his daughter, Sarah, and her husband, Andrew; his son, Lawrence, and his wife, Tiffany; and his cherished grandson, Levi. He is also survived by his brother, Kit, and his wife, Wai Chung; and his sister, Chin, and her husband, Kie Ann, along with their son, David.

Visitation will be held for friends and family at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

For family only, private funeral services will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery on Friday, August 28, 2026.
