Luis A. Tamez

Luis A. Tamez, 98, passed away on July 18, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born June 21, 1919 in Mexico. He is preceded in death by Alfonso Tamez, Emilia Tamez, Guadalupe S. Tamez, Manuel Tamez, Adolfo Tamez, Refugio Tamez, Maria Salas, and Raul Tamez. Left to cherish his memory, daughters: Maria T. Bautista and Irma T. Garcia; sons in law: Porfirio Bautista and Domingo Garcia; sisters: Amparo T. Martinez, Beatriz T. Martinez, and Josefina Moreno; brothers: Leonardo Tamez and Ramiro Tamez; grandchildren: Domingo Garcia, Jr., Petra Bautista, Porfirio Bautista, Jr., Noe Garcia, and Aldo Garcia; great grandchildren: Mariah Castillo, Guadalupe Garcia, Olivia Garcia, Aldo Garcia, Jr., Camila Garcia, Luis Bautista, Ashley Bautista, Nicole Bautista, Kevin Bautista, and Michelle Bautista. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 7pm. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11am. All services to take place in the large chapel of Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77022. Internment to follow immediately after the funeral service in Brookside Memorial Park.
