I knew Lula through the League  of Women Voters. We worked together closely for several years on  voter education , community relations and fundraising   We served together as officers and Board members. Lula was an enormous asset for the LWV - dependable, enthusiastic, cheerful with great ideas  and contacts everywhere!  She was a beautiful woman inside and out .  She could  mediate quarrels  and  resolve differences,  all the while 
looking as though she had just stepped off the ramp at a style show!

In recent years I enjoyed seeing photos of her engaged in various activities at  her retirement home,  usually accompanied by an adored pet!

She spoke often and fondly about Don and her children and grandchildren  so it was especially pleasing to see all the photos you have posted

Lula had a full life and generously shared it with so many of us. We will miss her.

Lula was a devoted Christian lady.  I am glad I had the privilege to know her.  May God give friends and family the peace that passes all understanding.

My thoughts and prayers are with family.  Your mother was a wonderful mother, strong believers and outstanding women. Family stay strong in the Lord.

My condolences to the whole family. 
I'm performing a public service on behalf of people who have lost a loved one in death. Since this is one of the most difficult experiences someone can go through in life, I would like to share with you a beautiful hope found in Revelation 21 : 4  "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away ",  and this video has been able to help many people cope with the great pain giving them comfort and hope.
