Lupe F. Alvarado, 91, born January 20, 1934, departed this life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, and was received into her heavenly home. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
She is survived by her brothers, Pat Flores and Victor Flores; her sons, Anthony Rene Cordoba and David Cordoba; her grandchildren, Stephanie Cordoba, Jared Cordoba, Brandon Cordoba, Angelique Cordoba, and Monique Cordoba; and her great-grandchildren, Steven Zapata, Avery Elizondo, Giovanni Cordoba, and Adelina Cordoba. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sotero and Sophie Flores, and her sisters, Hilda Galvan and Martha Ramirez.
Lupe will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love she had for her family. A woman of grace and unique style, she especially cherished collecting and wearing Native American jewelry—each piece a reflection of the beauty and spirit she carried throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.
