Lupe was born on December 12, 1939, in Waelder, TX. She graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Houston, TX on May 30, 1958. Lupe began as a secretary at Parker Brothers in Houston, and in 1972 she established a 33-year career at Tilson Custom Homes, where she retired in 2005.
Lupe was known for her smile and love for gardening. She would get excited when baseball season rolled around so she could cheer for “her Astros” on television. She enjoyed dancing to the oldies and delighted in sitting outside on her back porch.
Lupe was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Herrera, Sr., mother, Pauline Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Jr., brother, Henry Herrera, brother, Rudy Herrera, brother, and her daughter in love, Christine Camarillo.
She will be missed by her family, including her children, Cindy Camarillo Range and her husband, Jerry Range, Robert Camarillo, and Kathy White and her husband, Jerry White. Her grandchildren, Brandon McCleney, Jerry White, Jr, Danielle White, Christiana Camarillo, and Katelyn Camarillo. Her brother, Ernie Herrera and sister, Mary Helen Munguia.
A celebration of life service will take place at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park on September 13, 2025. A viewing and breakfast reception will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a burial at noon.
