Lurline Diener age 90, passed away January 16, 2011. She was born in Houston on August 14, 1920 to Walter E. Diener and Myrtle S. Sheckler. Lurline was an avid world traveler throughout her life and spent her career with Tenneco for 40 years prior to her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Walter E. Diener, Jr., Milton L. Diener and Allen A. Diener. Lurline is survived by her sisters-in law, Elizabeth Diener and Elaine Kuppers; nieces, Gayle Manker (James), Susan Bradley (Gary); nephews Larry Diener (Nena), and Todd Diener (Sandy); and numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay Street, Houston, TX. Interment will be private.
