She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Joseph Kosar; parents, Patricia Ann and Dale Emminger; brother, Timothy Emminger and nephew, Anthony Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Gail Bennett her husband, Paul Bennett; grandchildren, Andrew Ryan Bennett & Meghan Rennae Bennett; great-grandchildren, Shaelyn Rennae Ford, Lyla Ann Bennett, Melanie Shea Bennett; sons, Steve Kosar and Michael Kosar; sister, Tracy Moore and her husband, Henry Moore; brother, Ted Emminger his wife Robyn Emminger; nieces & nephews, Tammara Davis Walker her husband Chad Walker, Tasha Davis, Jason Emminger, Teddy Emminger, Jessica Poff; great-nieces & nephews, Traveon Moore, Tranique Moore, Anthony Moore, James Moore, Tamiya Moore, Joshua Moore, Corey Hopkins, Honesty Hopkins, Contreras Jackson, Xaria Renfro & Serenity Cox.

A visitation for Lynette will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A committal service will occur Monday, May 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
