Mable Magaline Walthall

Mable Magaline Walthall “Nanny”, age 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, June 2, 2016 peacefully in her sleep. She was blessed to be in the home of Ronny and Florence Walthall who took excellent care of her. Mable was born to Coleman and Minnie Jones on October 4, 1921. She was married to Kenneth on October 10, 1939 in Stamps, Arkansas. She worked for Pat H. Foley for many years. Mable loved to cook and was famous for her Chicken and Dumplings that she would proudly serve to her family. Her table was always a place with happy fellowship and full bellies. Mable enjoyed fishing, gardening, and taking care of her pecan trees. She was a member of Midway Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children: Hershell and Doris Walthall of Montalba, Texas, Ronny and Florence Walthall of Spring Texas, and Jerry Walthall of Streetman, Texas. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren: Preston Walthall, Gregg Walthall, Keith Walthall, Shelly Runyan, Amber Farmer, Melanie Walthall, Windy Rosemeyer, Haley Nevil, and Coleman Walthall, and her 21 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm, at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 am, also at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
