Macario C. Cortez, 72, passed away on September 27, 2015 in Humble, Texas. He was born January 2, 1943 in Mexico. Macario is preceeded in death by his father, Pedro Cortez; step-mom, Rosalia Cortez; and brother, Miguel Angel Cortez. Left to cherish his memory, wife: Maria Olga Cortez; children: Pedro Cortez, Ruberina Cortez, Myrna Cortez, Juana Mimbella, and Estella Rico; grandchildren: Kristina Hillis, Christopher Hillis, Alejandro Cortez; sisters: Josefina Haynes, Hilda Salazar, Gloria Elena Flores, Manuella Escobedo, Marina Cortez; brothers: Jose Guadalupe Cortez, Victor Manuel Cortez, Martin Cortez, George Cortez. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 5 PM to 9 PM. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 beginning at 10 AM. Entombment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
