Soror Maddie knew no stranger. She embraced everyone with her infectious smile. I know - as I was one of many recipients of her warmth and kindness she so effortlessly gave. I didn’t know Soror Maddie long - I’ve only been a member of the chapter a few years, but every time she saw me, she hugged me as if she had known me for years. I will forever cherish those memories. I’m thankful to have known such a remarkable woman.

Rest in Heaven Soror 💗💚

Mommy Madelyn and Uncle Cedric are my GodParents, my true 2nd set of parents, and one of my Ma’s best friend’s growing up. This Queen was my 1st glimpse into our Sisterhood, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. As a young girl, I was sold on all things “her” and she made lots of things happen for me! This picture means the world: me, my GodSister Brittany, Mommy Madelyn, my Ma Gloria, and my Daughter Lhynen-Milan. Rest easy and see you later Mommy Madelyn! I/we 💗💚you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you forever.
Madelyn was very special to me for all my 29 years at State Farm Insurance. She was a joy and ray of sunshine each day. We loved each other, and did not hesitate to say so at every opportunity.
I will miss my Friend.
