Mahesan Ravindranath

Ravi Mahesan, 63, of Cinco Ranch Texas, breathed his last breath to be with the Lord with his wife by his side, last Sunday October 9, 2022. He was born to the late Arumugam and Punithawathy Mahesan October 22, 1958 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Ravi married Meera Wallooppillai in 1985 and lived together with their son Jude in California before relocating to Texas in 2003.

Ravi was a retail salesman by trade, but his passion (outside of his family) was cooking. Ravi enjoyed working, hunting, having a party at the drop of a pin, watching superhero movies with his son, and Bollywood movies with his wife. He little realized that he was his son’s superhero.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law Mahen Wallooppillai, brother Naren, brothers in law Anura and Rajah, and sister Malini.

Ravi is survived by his wife Meera, son Jude (Krystal), brother Deve (Naomi), sisters Kumu (Maha) and Vino (Sachi), mother-in-law Raji Wallooppillai, and in laws Tulsi (Dakshi), Janaki, and Ram (Monica). A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 16. Flowers will be accepted at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston Texas, 77079.

A funeral service for Mahesan will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
