Manuel is survived by his spouse, Elizabeth Acuna; his father Sotero Alvarez; his brother Misael Torres, his brother Rudy Alvarez, his sister Lina Rosas and his sister Sonia Torres; his nephew Jorge X. Chavez, his niece Sophia Chavez, his nephew Aiden R. Acuna, his niece Alexis Acuna, his nephew Aiden Alvarez, his niece Nathalie Alvarez, his niece Callie E. Torres and his nephew Leonardo M. Torres.

Manuel was preceded in death by his mother Elma Torres; his grandfather Jesus Torres.

A visitation for Manuel will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel.
