He was preceded in death by his father Blas Coronado and mother Beatriz Gonzalez Coronado.
Manuel was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Attended school and graduated with an accounting degree. He met his future bride to be at age 15 Elva Estela Gonzalez. They had an eight-year courtship later married by church in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Since then, he was committed to her for 70 years. He was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, businessman and friend. His life was filled with love and laughter. He will be remembered by his humor, loving and giving ways.
Manuel "grandpa" Coronado will be deeply missed, is survived by his three children Ana Georgina Torres, Manuel Coronado, JR. and Donaji del Rosario Thomas and husband Samuel Thomas: six grandchildren Ana Laura Torres, Beatriz Amanda Torres, Chelsea Christina Coronado, Manuel Andrew Coronado, Christian Coronado, Michael Anthony Trevor DeMare, and Alisa Summer DeMare; eight great grandchildren.
Manuel was a founding member of the church and gave tirelessly to help ensure its success. He was immensely proud of all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and the love and works will shine within each of their hearts.
Visitation will be held from 6-9pm February 27, 2024 at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX Funeral services will be held at 11 am on February 28, 2024 at St John of the Cross Catholic Church in New Caney, TX.
