Manuel Martinez

Manuel Martinez, 96, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025. He was born on February 17, 1929, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Manuel shared a loving marriage with his wife, Elisa Martinez, whom he married on February 13, 1954. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and faith. He faithfully served as a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years. Manuel dedicated many years of service to the City of Houston, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his community.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elisa Martinez, and his son, Richard Martinez.

Manuel is survived by his children Maria Bumgardner (Scott) and David Martinez (Tammy); grandchildren Michael Martinez (Kayla), Nicholas Martinez, and Kimberly Ramirez (Rick); and great-grandchildren Abram Martinez, Otto Martinez, Ruby Martinez, Trent Ramirez, and Trisha Ramirez, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Manuel will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steadfast love for his family, and the example he set through a life well lived. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, located at 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003, on November 3, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the visitation, a chapel service will take place at the same location from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

The committal service will be conducted at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009, on November 3, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
