

Manuel Adame Salinas Sr. passed away at the age of 82 in his home surrounded by his loved ones in Houston, Texas on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Manuel was born in Sugar land, Texas on October 30, 1943, to Candelario Villa Salinas and Genoveva A. Salinas.
Manuel graduated from Milby High School in 1965 and became a Machinist for Reed Company where he became Vice President of his company Union. Manuel was a faithful member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and he earned his Fourth degree of the Knights of Columbus which shows his compassion and devotion to being a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Perez Salinas, and surviving family include his two siblings, Catalina Perez and Teresa Contreras. Five children, Manuel Salinas Jr., Sandra Sanchez and spouse Edward Sanchez, Sharon Saucedo, Veronica Robles, and Debra Salinas. Four Grandchildren, Daniel Gonzales, Andrew Robles, Olivia Sanchez, and Noah Saucedo. Two Great Grandchildren, Kayla Gonzales, and Sebastian Gonzales.
Manuel was a leading family man and always put his family first. He loved cheering on his favorite sports teams, showing his craftsmanship by working on many projects, and spending time with his family. His greatest joy was sharing stories and laughter with his loved ones. His family knows him as the strongest man they will ever know and he will be truly missed. We will forever remember the strength, dedication, and courage that he showed us, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
Manuel’s family will receive guests during visitation at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service for Manuel will be held the following day on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo beginning at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
